Ever since the engagement Mohammed would act as if he was forced into marrying me, ignoring the fact that he had a choice of choosing the girl. Unlike me who had no choice whatsoever...

I was engaged officially to someone whom I have never even spoked to, but he seemed nice, handsome, ambitious, however for some time during our engagement he did not seem to be interested in anything that I did. I always told myself he was shy or that it's new for the both of us...
During the winter holidays my family decided that we all go to London for a month and spend time at our 'Second Home'. Personally I could never say no to London, and knowing that my two best friends were going with their families to just sealed the deal.
Thursday night after school we all got on board EK003 to London Heathrow. However, the first batch that went was my elder brother, and my younger sisters, and the nannies.
Me and my elder brother had our seats in first class, but he made sure that he sits on the opposite side of the plane. As he wanted to sleep in the private cabin, and booked me a private cabin of my own. While my younger sisters and the nannies were back in Business Class.
The flight took off and the excitement began, I thought of all the places I would shop for my wedding. All the bags I would buy, the heels, the dresses, I got so excited I almost screamed.
While in air, they dimmed the lights for everyone to sleep. That's when I decided it was time to change into my London outfit. I went to the washroom took a shower (Airbus A380) and dressed up for when I reach to London town.
As I got out of the bathroom, there was this man, who was tall, handsome, and had a perfect style, who looked straight into my eyes and smiled.
He soon asked me: Enjoyed the shower?
I completely ignored gave him a weird smile and walked past him, that's when I remembered that I forgot my abaya in the washroom but I didn't dare to go back.
A couple of minutes later, he came by my seat with my abaya and said I believe this is yours and he winked at me. He also slipped a note that said "Meet me at the lounge at the back"
I was an engaged woman I had no idea what to do, however the teenager in me yelled inside of me and said go...

I went back, thanks to the dimmed lights and the midnight flight no one was there just a flight attendant who made drinks.
He was sitting there having a drink.
Him: Have a seat, I see you came.
Me: It's a long flight
Him: Good place to meet people, what's your name?
Me: Latifa, your name?
Him: Rashed, nice to meet you Latifa.
Me: Nice to meet you too.
Rashed started talking and he had all these wonderful stories that interested me so much, he showed me pictures of him during his Polo Matches, his trips to help kids in Africa, and I found out that he is doing his masters in London.
We sat for a whole hour talking, I didn't feel the time pass. I lost myself and fell in love.
*Cabin crew start serving breakfast, the head flight attendant said*
That is when I realised what I have done, and immediately got up to go.
Rashed: Take this! We need to meet in London.
I ran to my seat without looking at what he handed me, to my shock it was a phone. I feelt so dumb but so happy at the same time. It felt like my heart was divided into two halves, one that was angry for what I did, and one that was flying from happiness.
I immediately put the phone he gave me in my purse and acted as if I was watching a movie, just before the people started waking up. I saw him go to his seat and he looked at me and smiled...
