Who am I? Latifa a city girl who was born during the 90's who had no idea what life had in store for her.
It all started when I first opened my eyes to this world, I was born on a sunny summer afternoon in a hot and beautiful city called Dubai. I was welcomed to this world with my family members and their friends, who eagerly wanted to carry me and take a picture.
Years passed and I entered nursery, where it was one of my biggest fears when I had to leave home and go to the nursery and sit around kids who enjoyed playing with play-dough. During those days the most on our minds would have been what toy we wanted and had to get to be the cool kids.
Slowly, I found myself entering secondary school. People got meaner, or I started to understand better. However, I still imagined myself as a princess who lived the perfect fairytale.
That all ended when I graduated from high school, life was no longer all rainbows and butterflies. I had to be armored, strong, and had the courage, in order to survive in this harsh world.
My journey began the first day I stepped foot on campus as a freshmen...
